Friday Schedule “Discovery Days”
Fridays begin with Breakfast + Books and a mystery reader. We then attend a field trip or occaisonilly, have a guest speaker. Fridays are also when we will have art lessons, special crafts/story times from retired teachers and buddy projects. These are the most special days because our Explorers get to be together outside of our normal routines. At the end of each Friday, we teachers always sigh and say “that was so magical”. Parents are often involved in all if not most of our days on Fridays and we truly get to be a community, out in the real world.
